Privacy notice
This notice explains how we process data on the Roxamo Visuals website, in our photography services and in the Roxamo Drone & Photography Map application.

Photography services and enquiries
We may process a client's name, email address, phone number, production or photography location, preferred date, message content and details required for quotations, bookings, delivery and invoicing. We use this data to respond to enquiries, plan and perform the service, deliver material, invoice and meet legal obligations. Processing is based on a contract or steps before a contract, a legal obligation or our legitimate interest in managing the client relationship.
Website and visitor statistics
The website stores your language choice and a record of which pages have already been counted during the same browser session. We collect only daily page-level visit totals to improve the website. The tracking does not store names, email addresses, precise locations or persistent visitor identifiers, and it uses no marketing cookies. Information entered in a form is sent directly to Roxamo Visuals and processed only to respond to the enquiry and provide an agreed service. The technical hosting provider may process necessary logs for security and reliable operation.
Data stored locally by the application
Roxamo Drone & Photography Map stores application settings and user-created places, plans, drone and camera profiles, flight logs, equipment, checklists and hiking routes in application-private storage on the user's own device. This application version has no Roxamo user account and does not upload this local content to a Roxamo account service.
Location and network services in the application
The application requests location only while it is in use. Location is used to centre the map, show drone and condition information for the selected area and record a hiking track explicitly started by the user while the application is active. Background location permission is not requested, and the map can also be used by selecting a point manually. When map, weather, warning or authority information is loaded, the selected location or map viewport and the connection IP address may be transmitted to the relevant provider. The Android map uses Google Maps, weather forecasts use MET Norway, and drone and warning information may come from national authorities and other registered sources named in the application. Those providers process data under their own privacy practices.
Sharing and export
The application does not sell personal data. Export, sharing or navigation handoff initiated by the user may disclose selected coordinates and content to another application chosen by the user. Roxamo cannot control copies that the user deliberately shares.
Analytics, advertising and payments in the application
This Roxamo Drone & Photography Map release candidate does not contain Roxamo-enabled analytics, advertising, in-app purchase or external crash-reporting services. If actual data processing changes later, this notice and the app-store privacy disclosure will be updated before the new function is activated.
Retention and deletion
Messages submitted through the website are stored in a protected administration view for handling. Client and enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to provide the service, manage the relationship or meet legal requirements. Application data remains on the user's device until the user removes individual content, uses the application's deletion control or uninstalls the application. The application provides local-data export and deletion controls. Clearing its cache does not delete user-created stored content.
Service providers and security
We do not sell personal data. Photography-service data may be processed by the email, website, file-transfer and invoicing services needed to provide the service. Application network requests are processed by the map, weather and authority services described above. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service or transmission method is entirely risk-free.
Children
Roxamo Drone & Photography Map is a drone and photography planning tool and is not specifically directed to children. Remote pilots must follow local age, competency and supervision requirements.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data and object to processing. You may also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman. Send requests to contact@roxamovisuals.com.
